EMSL Analytical offers stringent testing services for Legionella bacteria Health officials in Nevadahave reported that Legionella bacteria, which causes Legionnaires’ disease, was found in water samples in the Luxor Hotel-Casino. One man recently died after staying there, and two other guests were sickened by the disease in the spring of last year.The hotel is owned by MGM Resorts International, which immediately began the remediation process after the bacteria was detected. The company is already dealing with a lawsuit from guests who claim that they were infected with Legionnaires’ while staying at the Aria Resort & Casino—which is half-owned by MGM Resorts. |
